My father was a small business owner that worked tirelessly for not only our family, but for his customers and his employees. I learned a great deal from my father including such gems like "anticipate the next need and not just the current need", as well "find something no one else is doing, and do it well". While my father had as many quotes as there were hours in the day, the one that stands out the most was "if you aren't helping, you are hurting". Unfortunately my father passed away several years ago, but those qualities have been how I approach each and every single day. My name is David Ward and I started my career working on the Alyeska Pipeline in Alaska. While I wasn't working on an oil rig, or conducting down hole drilling, I was ensuring that the businesses that supported those functions, had the proper technology solutions needed to help them run more efficiently. In 1998 my family moved south to North Carolina to experience four seasons. Upon moving to NC, I entered the world of Financial Services, specifically Wealth Management. I have managed everything from Contact Center Strategy and solutions for a Fortune 50 company, to Product Management teams supporting Contact Centers(Desktop and Telephony), Content Management & Delivery as well as User Interface Design - all focused on delivering exceptional value to my partners, and their customers. My teams were often recognized for their achievements across the enterprise they supported. While I take great pride in my work, I realize that this is a team sport, and I wouldn't be where I am today without looking at all of us as equal members. I truly value all of the relationships and subsequent successes we've built over the years together and look forward to earning the opportunity to add even more!
